Our new USA Made* Colorama AM Pen is formulated with an antimicrobial additive that is included in the exterior plastic parts. The additive technology provides antimicrobial product protection against unwanted microorganisms that could damage the pen. Ampersand History: Did you know that before Procter and Gamble was Procter & Gamble, the two brothers-in-law had separate companies selling soaps and candles? During the Panic of 1837, their father-in-law, Alexander Norris, convinced the two men to go into business together. Thankfully, they agreed! Not ones to waste anything, Procter began writing “& Gamble” on his existing stationary, creating the company name we know today. In 1995, the ampersand became part of our official P&G trademark.
